In other news, I'm going to the Brisbane devMeet tomorrow, a meet for deviantART folks. It should be fun, gonna meet some of the people behind the username. Its gonna be huge, 60 people confirmed. I know (IRL)2 of these people, and online... about three. Its gonna be socially awkard. Note to self: sketchbook must be brought.

Since like one person in the world knows of this Livejournal, I can use it for whining!

Anyway, I'm whining about the lack of inspiration.

Oh I get inspired yes.

When I cannot do art or comics.

At work I'm full of ideas and motivation.

At home it all goes away.

Dammit. D:

I feel like drinking. But I cant' be bothered going up to the shop. D: Maybe I'll eat a brownie. I like baking. >:D

So, mostly for a bit of fun, I'm thinking of making up a nice little Tokyopop manga submission. I got a million stories in my brain, but I'm thinking of a little shoujo story.

So theres this girl, and she's moved to Brisbane (hay its easy for me to get reference photos, ok?) and her mothers dead or terminal or something, I haven't decided what. Anyway, she uncovers some horrible family secret or something. And you know, ususal shoujo manga drama happens. Lotsa fun. Anyway I obviously have to flesh the idea out, but I think it has some potential.

Another one is another drama, about this college dropout named Daisy who gets caught up in a ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE. Its called pushing up daisies, because I'm witty. I think it would be interesting to have the focus of the story on the relationships and drama between the characters, and the horrible zombie apocalypse somewhat incidental.

I think I like the zombie one more, but I'd have to draw the dead a lot. Which would mean learning to draw zombies.
